Why I'm Voting for Obama (Instead of McCain as I had once intended to)

Normally I try to leave politics out of blogging just because of drama potential. However, McCain's VP pick just cinched it. I am voting for Obama. Sure Biden has his flaws but its better than McCain's apparent belief that if I'm a woman I will vote for a woman. WTF is that? For one thing, he's being a hypocrite about Obama's inexperience because Palin is even more inexperienced and untried. For another thing, she's sueing over polar bears listed as an endangered species (note: oil company supporter? X_X).

I don't know about you but this freak weather and all the crap we're putting into the air and the earth is bad enough without oil companies getting even worse. So I'm frankly insulted if McCain thinks he'll get female voters just because the VP pick is female. I had my problems with Clinton but at least she proved herself.

Although I wasn't very happy about how the democrats were running their elections and Obama's somewhat vague statement about making a change and was on the verge of going for McCain despite me leaning towards the liberal side, McCain's pick convinced me to vote Obama.
